Legislative Awareness

The Chamber is your primary business lobbyist in the community. Whether it’s supporting pro-business laws or working to defeat costly anti-business legislation, your Chamber is working for the economic and social betterment of the community. Our active Government Relations Committee addresses numerous issues on both the local and state levels.

Marketing and Resource Information

The Chamber maintains a wide variety of information on the community, including community demographics, industrial and economic development resources, information on starting a new business, and tourist information. In addition to those, listings of clubs and organizations, meeting rooms, maps and other basic information is available to members and to the general public.

Marketing Opportunities

Through various Chamber events, meetings and activities, you meet fellow members who may provide you valuable business referrals. You become part of a personal customer referral service. The Chamber also provides advertising and marketing opportunities through the Chamber newsletter and event sponsorships.

Membership Directory & Business Resource Guide

Members receive three free listings in our annual membership directory. Those listings include sections listed alphabetically by company name, by representative name and by business category.

Monthly Membership Luncheons/Morning Coffees

The luncheons are a great networking opportunity to share you product or service on a monthly basis with other Chamber members. Each breakfast or luncheon presents a scheduled program with speakers who address current topics of interest. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Web Site

The Chamber hosts an extensive, active web site. The web site gives information on all aspects of the community including business, government, school district and Chamber members.

The Membership Directory and Business Resource Guide are included.
