			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Raytown SummerFest &amp; BBQ Cookoff is less than 30 days away.  SummerFest is a family fun event being held in downtown Raytown on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9 with no cover charge.  Carnival rides, shaved ice, homemade funnel cakes, yummy kettle korn and more are offered in our vendor area along with craft, business and not for profit booths as well.  Some of the best BBQ cooked and served by local businesses being sold to the public in the large tent.  Four Fried Chickens &amp; A Coke will play live on Friday night and The Elsea Smith Band covers the Saturday night entertainment.  International Entertainment will go from 11-3 on Saturday and the Raytown Parks Department will host a wiffle ball contest on Saturday from 3 to 7.  Do you have a dachshund and he or she is a fast runner?  Enter them into the Sausage Sprint Races on Saturday at 1:00 pm.  For more information, click on the SummerFest/BBQ tab at the top of the Chamber&#8217;s website or call the office at 816-353-8500 for more information.  You can also email staff@raytownchamber.com as well.  Come out and make this an event Raytown residents can be proud off.</p>

<p></font><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">An open house on the Raytown Central Business District (CBD)<br />
Streetscape Design project will be held on will be held Monday April 16</font><sup><font size="2">th</font></sup><font size="3"><br />
from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Raytown City Hall.&nbsp; Business owners, property owners,<br />
residents and anyone else who is interested in the project are invited to stop<br />
by anytime to review the proposed streetscape plans, ask questions or provide<br />
comments.&nbsp; A steering committee comprised of downtown business and<br />
property owners, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Board of<br />
Aldermen have worked the Kansas City based consulting firm of Confluence over<br />
the past few months to develop the proposed plans. The proposed streetscape<br />
plans include wider sidewalks, landscaping, pedestrian oriented street<br />
lighting, and increased amount of on-street parking.&nbsp; Members of the<br />
steering committee as well as the project consultant team along city staff will<br />
be available at the open house to answer questions about the design and the<br />
process for constructing the proposed streetscape improvements. Construction of<br />
phase 1 of the streetscape improvements, which will be along 63</font><sup><font size="2">rd</font></sup><font size="3"><br />
Street from Raytown Road to Blue Ridge Boulevard, is anticipated to begin this<br />
fall with completion in the spring 2013.&nbsp; 75% of the funding for<br />
construction of the phase 1 improvements is being provided through a Federal<br />
Transportation Enhancement grant the City of Raytown received in 2011.&nbsp;<br />
The city is providing the remaining funding for phase 1 construction. &nbsp;<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></font></font></p>

<p>The ideal candidate will be versatile in many aspects of Contact Center Workforce Management. Primarily will be overseeing, tracking and monitoring Contact Center call volumes to determine optimal staff and technology to service these requests. Candidates will also be responsible for learning and using proprietary software used to measure Service Levels and other metrics for over 100 clients.</p>
<p>•	Accountable for building positive proactive relationships with internal and external customers</p>
<p>•	Direct daily monitoring and adjust staffing levels as necessary to ensure service levels are achieved</p>
<p>•	Develop and design of departmental reports for individual and unit performance metrics</p>
<p>•	 Track, forecast and report call volumes and Contact Center performance metrics</p>
<p>•	Produce Ad Hoc reports to provide detailed statistical analysis at an individual, team, contact center, business unit and department level</p>
<p>•	Actively supports process improvement initiatives through re-enforcement of strategies generated</p>
<p>•	Maintain staff resource management database using IEX Totalview – Workforce Management</p>
<p>•	Create agent schedules to support call volume demands and optimize Center performance</p>
<p>•	In collaboration with management, set goals, objectives, and priorities in alignment with departmental goals</p>
<p>•	Observe and notify management staff regarding critical call center issues and/or incidents</p>
<p>Position will be part of a team supporting multiple Contact Centers across the Midwest. No travel is required but must be flexible in regards to schedule worked.</p>
<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>
<p>•	High School Diploma or equivalent</p>
<p>•	1 year Workforce Management experience in at least one of the following aspects: scheduling, forecasting, real time management and/or reporting</p>
<p>•	2 years related work experience, preferably in a contact center environment</p>
<p>•	Strong math aptitude with proven analytical ability and forecasting skills</p>
<p>•	Advanced knowledge of Excel and IEX Totalview or other forecasting and scheduling tools</p>
<p>•	Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills</p>
<p>•	Proven ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization</p>
<p>•	Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills</p>
<p>•	Ability to work independently in highly visible position</p>
<p>•	Successfully work under pressure and effectively multitask to meet critical deadlines</p>
