2018 COMMITTEE/TASK FORCE OPPORTUNITIES

Membership Services Committee 

Rene Purtee & Patrick Searcy, Co-Chairs –  This committee works to set programs for the year and helps with the mentoring of new members as well as retain current members.  Additional recruitment efforts are being discussed for 2018.

This committee meets the first Wednesday of every month, Noon at the Chamber office.  Bring your own lunch.

Government Relations/Advocacy Committee 

Madeline Romious & Carol Baker, Co-Chairs – Review legislation affecting business, network with local, county and state elected officials.  This group provides for a round table type discuss with elected officials in attendance.

Meetings are normally held the third Friday of each month, 8:00 a.m. at the Chamber office.

Raytown Chamber/Raytown Rotary Golf Tournament Task Force

Terry Landers & Brian Wagler, Co- Chairs – Golf is another great way to connect with others.  We are looking for golfers and non-golfers to help plan this annual tournament.  Date is May 17, 2018 and will be held at Hillcrest Golf Course.

This group normally meets monthly from February to June.

Raytown Night/Day at the Royals Task Force

 Jason Hanson, Chair – Take us out to the ballpark and celebrate the 2015 World Champion Kansas City Royals!  Help promote and organize one of the largest community events in the KC Metro area.

Meetings are held monthly from February to May.  Game date:  May 4, 2018

Senior Celebration Task Force

Do you like to plan parties with music and lots of fun?  This could be the task force for you.  Theme, location and date to be determined.

Monthly meetings will run from April until September.

Raytown Young Professionals Committee

Kaylie Baker & Chris Meyers, Co-Chairs – This group will host a Trivia Night, several Networking events along with helping the Postal Workers Food Drive to benefit REAP.  Be a part of this committee working to engage Young Professionals in the Raytown Area.
